    Disappointed in QualityThis is a fun item. I bought 3, one for me and 2 for grandkids. We all enjoyed our painting on our little easel with water, watching them dry and doing another. BUT after less than a week of use mine has a permanent image that did not go away when dry (only used water to paint). So the whole purpose is defeated. Am very disappointed as I was going to use it to practice brush strokes. 2Creative FunI have the full-size one as a gift and it is a hit. I have 2 of the "mini" in my classroom for fast-finishers or for quiet creative time. It's a great item for the kids who would rather draw then say build with blocks. You can draw with nothing in mind and it is relaxing/fun. You can also draw a planned picture and it is fun. Be sure to show it off before it fades away though! 5Perfect for my needsThis product is perfect for my meditation corner. It's small enough to not take up too much space, but still big enough to imprint your emotions onto the fabric. The brush that came with mine was rock solid so I needed to replace that, but that was my only down side. I use a separate water bowl instead of using the built in basin. This was just my preference because I think that I would make too much of a mess of it. This folds up into a neat, tiny square that can be stored away with ease. I keep mine out always. I usually try to paint something on there every time I pass it. I just find it very fun to try to keep it filled with ever changing designs. Overall, a good purchase. 4Very nice :)I really like this concept and I enjoy painting with the water. Most of the problems I found are very minimal and I don't mind at all.The brush is of medium quality and the fine strands will only come out of you pull on or be otherwise rough with them.The external parts of the board easily collect fingerprints and should be wiped often.The instructional booklet recommends using a glass of water or the reservoir that comes built-in. I tried using the reeservoir and not only is it hard to dry out afterwards, overall its just not as easy as using a simple glass. 5CarefulYou have to be careful when moving the board itself, it was not closing properly and I found out that the board was hitting the brush, so when I did end up moving it, it bent on the sides. 4Quality Appearance and Weight - Caution on the SizeI purchased this particular product because it is the name brand original version of Buddha Board. The packaging is nice, in a fitted box. The product has a nice weight to it. The only downside is that when they say, mini it is mini. Make sure to measure this out prior to purchasing so you don t have to do a return if you feel it is too small. This is the perfect size for a desk, but might be too small if you are wanting it to practice art on a more professional level. 5Product as described Great itemThis is a beautiful item. Exactly as described. I got this as a gift for my son and he uses it at least once a week. I thought about getting the bigger one but it turns out this is the perfect size. I plan on getting another one as a gift for my mother. It works perfectly. Fast shipping. Product as described. I would purchase from this seller again. 5Works great for practicing my kanji!I bought this to practice my Japanese writing and I have to say it works great! I really love the traditional Japanese ink styling that the brush makes on the board. The one issue I have with this is that the side of my board is poorly cut so it looks a little dingy. Other than that, it's a great product! Also I should note that the mini water trough for the mini budda board is too small for my clumsy self to add water without saturating the board; I feel like I would need to use an eyedropper to add water safely. However I don't consider this a fault considering that this is a mini version intended for travel and I can just have a bowl or cup of water next to me when I settle down for some writing practice. Definitely worth the buy! 4Four Year Old LOVES this board -- so do I!Our daughter use done while we were at a salt cave and I noticed how well she took to it so we bought one for home. It's awesome! She loves to sit a "paint" quietly and seems to really enjoy the time spent at the board. I have found I'm even using it when I need a quiet moment. Perhaps we will add one to the peace table for moments we need alone time! 5FUN GIFT FOR THE ARTIST IN THE FAMILYI purchased this on a recommendation from my daughter for a Christmas gift. She was very happy with it and we both had fun doodling on it and watching it disappear to do another picture. Great gift for the artist in your family or a friend. I think it would be fun for children as well. 5
