The shirt and the vest were perfect, the skirt was just a tad tight. The outfit looks really cute on. The problem is the waistband of the skirt is to short. It needs to be about 1/4" longer. We put it on the smallest section of the dolls waist and it is extremely difficult to get it snapped. My granddaughter is 7 years old and will not be able to snap it herself. I am guessing the skirt is going to rip if used very much. I would return it if she would let me but she said she just will not snap it. This is the reason for only four stars. 4Very nice qualityI ordered this outfit over other similar priced ones based on the reviews. I ordered it with the standard shipping, but it arrived much earlier than expected. It looks beautiful. I agree the hat would be better without the bill, but it's for kids so it doesn't matter really. I can't speak for the fit because it's a Christmas present for my daughter. So I will update or add a new review for how well it fits after Christmas. For now all I know is it looks very high quality, the brown looks just about identical to my daughters real brownie uniform. I know they will be really happy to see this outfit. I bought one for each. The outfit is well made, looks much like the real Brownies outfit, and we really haven t seen it anywhere. Maybe it s new or has been out of stock at our local store. I m sure it s going to be a treat for them as one of them was a Brownie herself. I was going back-and-forth between this one and very similar uniform that's a couple dollars less in price....... My friend purchase the other one for her daughter. I chose this one, and I'm glad I did. The two outfits are pretty similar but getting to see them in person next to each other there are some differences that were important to me .1) The color of this outfit is the right Brown, it is an identical match to my daughter's Brownie uniform. ( The other is much darker)2) The patches on this one are right for the brownies level the other one had two patches that are for Girl Scouts but are not for the brownies level. The only thing I did not love about this uniform was that the hat has a bill on it and the brownies acorn cap does not. But I was able to remove the bill and it looks perfect now :) 5I didn't even know I needed this!I was looking for accessories for my granddaughter's American Girl doll. She was telling me in the fall that she was really excited about getting her Brownie Vest and earning badges. The picture was so cute I added to her Christmas gift. When it came it was wrapped so cutely! I carefully opened it to take a peak. OMG...the picture does not do it justice. She is going to love it. I may even update this after she opens it. 5Grandaughter was thrilledMy granddaughter was thrilled, I gave it to her when she moved up to be a Brownie. I came package so I wasn't able to take it apart and look at it good. My daughter said it was nice & the granddaughter was happy so it is a win win. slightly pricey for what it was. and only 4 stars on presentation because it was packed tightly and I could not see it with out dismantling the package. 5
