    Great game - terrible boxGreat game - terrible box, esp. if you want to take it to game days. The cards are not well held by the insert - they slide all over and make a mess after moving the box, or putting it in a game bag, or anything where you want/need to store the box 'vertically' like most game collectors do. Save yourself the aggravation and get the much (MUCH) better packaging in the deluxe tin box, plus that version comes with a lot more cards too! 3So much fun for Teens, young and old adults! SEE PIXSuper fun game!This is best played with 3 or more people. We've played with as many as 9 people and it was so much fun!This game has cards that are current and relevant to today's news, memes, fads, sayings and fashion.Every player gets a turn: you take a green card with 2 words on it. You choose which word you want and the others choose from their hand of red cards which one matches your word the best. Whoever put the winning red card in, takes the green card as a win.It is a fun way to find out just how twisted and fun your family and friends are!Although this game is called 'Apples to Apples', it is definitely not 'Hi Ho Cherry-O'This had everyone in stitches and after 2 complete rounds (the winner is the one who has 4 green cards)We might need an expansion pack for more cards![...] 5Box different from pic, but is what I wanted.I purchased this particular one because in the pic of the upper-right of the box lid it reads "all new cards." The lid on the box I received is not the same - it does not say that. Thought I got the old version, however, the back of the box reads "(c)2017," (unlike their back of box pic which shows (c)2015), and there is a sticker with the bar code that reads "Apples to Apples PARTY i...X ALL NEW CARDS by Mattel New." Thus I believe I did in fact receive the updated version. 5We had fun but.....We played this tonight and I laughed so hard. My kids are little young for this game so there were a lot of people and words they didnt know. I had to go through and pick through the cards. We loved it. We really need more green cards! We had a TON of red cards and some words weren't really meshing or even unmeshing well with the green cards. My only gripe is there should be two stacks of green cards instead of one! I took another star off for not making this an 8+ game, its geared toward 12 and up. 3Not for childrenWe bought this game for our 11 year old granddaughter's birthday and were quite shocked at the inappropriate content of a huge number of the cards. This game contains many cards with subject matter or innuendo that appropriate for a child. We had to remove about a third to one half of the cards in order to avoid exposing the children to "adult" content. 1Might be NSFW...Tread CarefullyThis deck set of Apples to Apples has brand new cards, as advertised. It's way easier to get a bit raunchy with these cards than it was in the original version of the game. Tread carefully and consider getting a junior version if you intend to use this for family game night. 5Don't Buy Party EditionThis edition is NOT anywhere near as fun because it has a LOT of limiting choices. Names and things that are very selective to either age or lifestyle. We played with a variety of ages except for high school or young twenty-somethings and a large number of the choices were not recognizable to all 8 of us. I wish I could still send it back and trade for a different edition so it's gonna just be wasted. 1Not as described.Not as described.... The picture shows the "Family" box and "more than 1,000 cards". I've seen the family, 1000+ cards, in the store and this is NOT it This is the "light" version with only about 500 cards and a super thin box. Very disappointed! Will be sending back. 1Family funI bought this at the request of my nine-year-old daughter. She plays it at her after-school program. As does my five-year-old son. However, I didn't realize there were different editions and the ones that they play at school are a junior level. So we do have to explain a lot of the cards to them as this is more for adults. It's still fun though. And it's definitely a game you can play with your family as opposed to Cards Against Humanity, which by the way we love to play, but it's absolutely an adults only game LOL 5PERFECT GAME FOR EVERYONE!I was skeptical about this game But, we took this with us on vacation, for my kids to meet my family for the first time. This game broke the ice in every household with every age kid & adult! It was soooooo much fun! And, the fact that every player during the game gets to pick the winning card for a round, keeps the game hilarious & fair! And, the answer that would or should be the perfect card isn't always because the judge decides!It is so much fun, telling why your card should win & everyone always chipped in for their favorite card (even if it wasn't their own!)I also like that for the kids, they are learning new things without even knowing it! The adults to!I have purchased this game 2x's & plan to again! Because every household we went to were begging to have the game too! 5
