    Lovely and well doneReceived enthusiastically by my granddaughter. The quality is superior. I also purchased a small clear storage box, shoe box sized. She keeps the vegetable garden and the Hape Family Pets in as well as other small dollhouse objects in. 5Fun little set!We loved this with our plan toys or any other farm/barn/home sets you might have or waldorf inspired play. They are very small but my kids did fine with it and always were safe and fine with it but keep that in mind if you do have little ones under 1 or who mouth toys. We only ever lost one turnip and still managed to keep the whole set together for years and through a few moves. 5Fun as a standalone toy for toddlersI got this for my 2-year old. We don't have any of the dollhouse pieces; this is just a 'standalone' toy for him, and is great!He plants the vegetables, waters them, digs them up, and loads them into the wheelbarrow. It is very nice for a first fine-motor activity (once you know he won't try to eat the pieces!) 4Small Quality Sorting ToyAmother well made wooden product by Plan Toys. Sorting by color, type provides worthy educational value. However, the pieces are rather small. I think the pegs should be slightly larger than the holes so that they do not fall completely through. I am afraid we are going to lose some of the vegetables before long because they are so small. Children old enough to safely play with this product likely will have already mastered color sorting. Therefore, to fit the age range, I think this product could have been made slightly larger. 4Okay quality.Very nice toy. I don't like that the green cloth ends pull out of the vegetables very easily. I have had to glue several back in. But it's an easy fix. Also, I wish the holes were a little smaller. When you pick them up, the carrots and parsnips fall out of the bottom, so it's difficult to transfer them if you want to move them. Otherwise, very happy with this toy.. 4Purchased years ago and family still adores it!I cannot convey enough praise for this product. It has stood the test of time in my household, going from farm playlet to dollhouse, and back to the farm again! Excellent quality and detail of each piece, plus it is durable. I love the theme of gardening and growing, beginning from the earth and transitioning to the table. My daughter, who has some special learning needs, cannot get enough of putting the vegetables into various dollhouse kitchen areas (e.g., oven and refrigerator) and play pet bowls (e.g., rabbit). Plan Toys dollhouse line is great, and we use them for other dolls (1/12 scale), not necessarily for Plan Toy dolls. I bought this as well as the other garden and have been happy with the pieces. They come wrapped within the box, not loose, and it appears the company takes great care in quality control.
