Customer Reviews

Cool Design; Too SmallI bought these to use while playing casual D&D with some friends. They are nice to show off, however I think I'll order some other dice to actually play with.Pros:Cool design and color.Cons:The dice are a tad bit on the small side, creating a cramped feeling with the design. It is a nice design that would be better utilized with some slightly larger dice. They are light too and don't get a good roll when rolled on anything except hard surfaces (i.e. felt). Hard to read because of the design and size of the dice.Overall, I'd say they are a little to pricey considering the actual performance. These dice are better off being shown, not used. 3Strange Beings and Cultists (Sadly JK) Not IncludedFirst of all, these dice have a little bit more personality to them than the standard polyhedral dice you might get from Chessex. Yes, I am talking about the rune symbols signifying maximum value. THEY'RE COOL! I absolutely love seeing my PCs' and DM's face turn to dread when the d20 lands Elder Sign up.Now if only tentacles could rise from the table when it did so ... 5Pretty, but very lightweight and bounce too muchThese dice are very pretty to look at, but the plastic used to make them is also extremely light in weight, meaning this buggers will bounce EVERYWHERE if you're not careful rolling them. each dice feels like it weight about half what other plastic dice seem to weigh, you know, those pretty multi color swirl dice sets you see all over the place? yeah...On one hand, they are very interesting to look at and make me feel like theyre worth the price, on the other hand, the material's weight just makes them feel cheaply produced and very prone to bouncing off the coffee table and under the nearest piece of furniture... every single time... 3Not balanced, but very esthetically pleasing.I absolutely love these dice! They are gorgeous and as obsessive as you can get with Cthulhu. However, they are not well balanced. I tested them several ways and every time the higher numbers were more probable to be rolled. I'm not opposed of course, but if someone is concerned about this as a gift for a fellow DND player, it might not be the most fair choice. 4Cool dice, like the quality ( not sure what ...Cool dice, like the quality ( not sure what people are saying about the numbers not indented into the dice, the quality of the paint appears very strong ). Just know not easiest dice to read quickly, so maybe not dice you use all the time gaming. I'm a DM and I used them when I'm throwing something nasty at the players, adds to the drama when they see me pick them up :) 5I am 100% satisfied with these diceI am 100% satisfied with these dice. This was the first set of dice I ordered for d&d; needless to say, I was excited to get them in the mail and not need to borrow my friends' dice anymore. The only comment that I have is that my d4 looks different than the one shown in the picture, but I like the one I got more than the one shown. 5A little hard to read but are balance dicePros: Cool design, balance dice,Cons: Hard to tell 6 and 9 apart, small numbers, all max numbers on the dice replaced with COC symbol. The Dice are smaller and lighter then I thought they will be. I did a balance test on the dice and found that they are well balance so you can't blame the dice on bad rolls. 4Call of cthulhu modern genocide 3The design of these die are really exotic but I can't help but feel they are made with cheap materials. After holding these die with a full set of other die I can tell a weight difference. If they were to glow in the dark I would five star. I love tossing my dice in the dark. 4They are really pretty and nice lookingThese were for my fiance. He uses them every week when he plays DND. They are really pretty and nice looking, but the numbers ARE a little hard to differentiate without some effort. Good show dice though. 5Awesome quality.Bought these for my boyfriend and he's absolutely over the moon about them the only thing he wishes is that they glow in the dark but he's not complaining about anything other than that they are a little pricey for plastic. We get our first use out of them this weekend and looking forward to it. 4
