    fit 19 month old fine, a little big but she is a little ...Very cute costume, durable and soft. Both my kids still play in them. Ordered a toddler size, fit 19 month old fine, a little big but she is a little short. Ordered the 4/5 for my 4 year old, was a tad small, had to add a piece of material in the inseam to make it a tad bigger. Fit ok but was a bit tight for crawling and playing in, she is 44 inches tall. Other than that, great costume. 5Both ears sewn on backwardsThe head, with the exception of both ears sewn on backwards, is very realistic. The glass eyes are almost spooky and the detail on the face is exceptional. The weight isn't extremely heavy (about as thick as a flannel shirt) but my kids usually wear their pajamas under their costumes anyway, so all they have to do is take off the costume, brush their teeth and hop into bed. My daughter wants to be Baby Jaguar for Halloween, so I ordered the costume very early. This way, if anything was wrong, I would have time to correct it. My daughter is very tiny for a 3-1/2 year old (she weighs 28 lbs. and still fits many of her 18-mos old clothes)so I purchased the size "small" for her, to fit 3T-4T. I figured she can grow into it. The costume almost fits her perfectly. If she were the size of a typical three-year old, it would be far too small. The sizing chart is not based on Americans sizes. I don't think it's really worth $26. If I saw this in a store, I'd pay up to $15 for it, maybe and that is with ears sewn on correctly (so the black outline and white inner part faces forward and the orange side faces to the back). I cannot find contact information anywhere, to advise Rubie's Costumes that I'd like to exchange it. Overall, my daughter DOES love her new costume. The front paws are shaped like mittens and the rear feet have Velcro tabs that go under the child's heel, so the top part of the costumed foot rests over the child's feet like spats. The entire costume is held together using Velcro rather than a zipper, which ensures it will not come off track during a crucial moment (like when the child is doing their "gotta-go-potty" dance, nor catch in their skin or hair. Overall, I give it three stars, because of the lack of quality control and the poor sizing. 3Great find!Such a great costume! Great quality (soft material) and so much fun for a toddler to wear! My son is big for his age (tall and thick), but fits into a 3T. I bought the small after reading what others had posted and I'm glad I did! The toddler size definitely would have been too small. With the size small he still has a little room to give, but overall it fits well and allows him to wear his regular clothes underneath without being restrictive. Overall a great costume that your child will love! 5Inconsistent sizingThe hat/hood is huge and fit a grown up, much too big for my four year old. (Although he didn t care!) The jumpsuit part is too short for my little guy. He wears a size 5 pant and is tall for his age. The gloves are tiny and have to have the hand balled up inside, my son hated them.We will be returning! 4OVERPRICED, RUNS SMALL!While the costume is very similar to what is picture, there were several issues with this costume. keep in mind the manufacturer was Rubie's costumes, so I'm assuming that it's made in China. Way over price for what I paid for. The tail was flat and super wonky, the head piece was beyond baggy, and the sizing was way off. I ordered a size S, with the height measurement my son should have fit in it, it is 3 in too small in length, the hand paws are made for maybe a child that is 18 months old. Luckily, I'm a seamstress and was able to fix most of this. DO NOT BUY VERY OVERPRICED FOR WHAT YOU GET!!! 2Best little leopard costume aroundSearched high and low for a costume for my little girl that was true to the look of the animal and not some leopard print thrown on a tutu. She was absolutely delighted - as am I. As costumes go, this one is well made with fabric that is a heavier, sturdier fabric than what you typically find in a costume. The headpiece is too cool with the most amazing detail.Sizing was perfect for a toddler. Mittens fit her little hands and the straps fit well over her shoes. 5Sizing is weird, but daughter loves it.The costume itself is realistic & cute. My daughter loves it because she is currently obsessed with cheetahs. HOWEVER, the fit is all over the place. She is normally a size 4-5T and the costume i ordered was the 4-6T sizing. The body portion of the costume is almost too small for her (height-wise). The head piece is really big and the mittens-- she has to make fists with her hands to make them fit. We ended up cutting the mittens so her fingers can fit through them-- thumb through one cut hole and the rest of her fingers through a larger cut hole. Shes likes it and it happy with it, but as a mom who has bought her A LOT of costumes, this is probably the worst fitting costume I have bought her. 3Good costume - does not run longQuality seems good, length is almost too small, BUT I have a very tall 4 year old. She really wants to be a cheetah for halloween, so we bought this. The costume itself is super cute, with the headpiece being the best part. The feet have elastic straps to keep them in place and the mittens are separate from the suit and also cute. The back is an open v with a few hook and loop closures. The headpiece is adorable. She loves her costume (even if it is almost too small) and is excited for halloween. 4Looks fantastic. Size runs a bit smaller than manufacturer size chart indicates.We got the larger size based on the size chart from the manufacturer my son should have fit it perfectly but I'm afraid this does run a bit smaller than indicated on that chart. Subtract about 3 inches from the heights listed and you will be happy. That said, based on the reviews that said it ran small, I knew we would be cutting it close size-wise. After squeezing my son into the costume he's pleased as punch and it's quite cute especially the Leopard face. It is as vibrant as pictured. Would be awesome if they made a few more sizes. 4Surprisingly great leopard costume!This is our second Silly Safari costume - surprisingly well made and really quite cute. These wash well in the machine on cold and usually line dry. We LOVE the parrot costume from the same company and have worn for years. This leopard is cute and with a great tail. The headpiece is a bit large, but very sturdy. The gloves have wrists that look impossibly tiny, but seem to fit well when actually worn. Sizing is similar to other costumes from this company - bought a SMALL for the 3-5 year old age range. Toddler sizing is quite small. 5
