    Very useful and visible sign! You can notice people drive more carefully when they see it!Excellent product, very easy to see and useful to get people's attention to drive slower. In fact, two neighbours (ThaI've never have talked to) already approach me to thank me for installing this on my porch, as they also have small children (and pets) that can potentially be hurt by someone driving fast or careless. My only suggestion for the company would be to make the hole where you add the sand a little bigger - it took forever to add the sand to hold it in place ! Other than that, the product is great and the flag is big enough that can be almost seen from 300-400ft away. The product comes with reflective tape that needs to be attached to both sides, but to make it more visible at night , I added more reflective tape in another 3 parts of the body (3M 3432 Red Micro Prismatic Sheeting Reflective Tape, 1.5" width x 5 yd length). For $17 dollars, this product is a steal! 5I would recommend bringing it in with you because just like anything ...It does the job. We filled it with a little water so it wouldn't topple over, but just enough so the wind won't take it because we take it inside with us after each use. I live in a cul de sac and sometimes people come ripping through there. When my kids go out to play I make them put it out and I see people braking when they see it. It definitely does the job. I would recommend bringing it in with you because just like anything else, when you see something day in and day out you desensitize from it. When it is out the neighbors know my kids are too. 5Reminds drivers to slow downAfter my dog was hit and killed on our dead-end road I purchased this to set in front of my house. Other neighbors have similar signs with a child, but this was the only one I found that featured a child AND a dog. I filled the base with very small gravel. I ended up replacing the flag and stick with a pinwheel on a stick and added an additional reflective bracelet to each hand. Don't know if this helps slow the drivers on my street, but after my dog was killed I was willing to try this sign. 5Worked perfect.I live in a very tiny town and people use our street as a race track. I had bought one of these a few summers ago and someone took it. So I bought this one and we filled it with concrete. Worked perfect. 5Life Saving.I live on a cute residential street that happens to be a "secret" (not so secret ...) quick route to the highway. Cars speed through ...A couple of months ago my 3 year old and a neighbor dog darted towards the street, having lots of fun. My kid knew to stop, but the dog did not and came so, so close to getting killed ... actually ended up under a speeding car ... but not under the tires ... she was ok. And again, thankfully my daughter stopped before the street ... but she might not have.I bought this stand. It was so very easy to set up. I "borrowed" some sand from my daughter's sand box to put in the weight. That's not absolutely necessary, but I recommend it for sure. I've had this sitting in the street for a couple of weeks ... and cars ACTUALLY SLOW DOWN ... and ... no one has stolen it either.Very, very easy to assemble. I mean, there's really not much to assemble. Worse part of it is that the flag is tightly coiled in one direction when you open it .... I had to wrap it tightly in the other direction to get it to flow sort of flat. But seriously, not remotely an issue. This product is great and life-saving.I SEE the cars slowing down. That's it. Cars slow down. It's durable and easy to assemble ... and cars slow the F* down. What else do you need to know? 5you'll need 4 lbs. of SandThis lil guy is awesome! He's just as described. Stickers were easy to apply and they seem fairly thick, the reflective stickers are very thick and have a great reflective glow. There are three pieces here - the kid w/dog, the flag, and the piece along the back/bottom that adds stability (this piece gets the sand). The manufacturer recommends using 4 pounds of sand. I bought a 5 pound bag and after filling the piece all the way, there was just under a pound of sand left, my son was excited there was extra so he could play with it. My son and I put it together and put it out at the end of the driveway along the street. Our driveway is a semi circle and the kids like to complete the circle riding on the street while on their scooters and bikes. Our street is not busy but I like to alert the neighbors to take caution while the kids are riding or playing and it seems to be working well. The only complaint is that the flag was rolled up around itself during packaging and it's very difficult to unroll it to look like a flag. I'm sure overtime it will relax out if being rolled up when packaged for shipping. 5Inferior product and arrived usedArrived sandy and obviously a previous returned item. I tried to set it up anyways and now see why it was returned. The base can be weighted down with sand or water. However, The valve doesn't hold water and leaks right out. Without the weight it falls right over. 1
